What a morning. Got up at 09.45 and just made it to breakie. Good job the lounge where breakie is served is right next to our room. Lucky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Despite the rain, we walked down to Stanley Park (click for external link<\/strong><\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stanley Park is a 405-hectare (1,001-acre) public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada and is mostly surrounded by waters of Burrard Inlet and English Bay. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The land was originally used by Indigenous peoples for thousands of years before British Columbia was colonized by the British during the 1858 Fraser Canyon Gold Rush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stopped off at the Stanley Park Pavilion (click for external link<\/strong><\/a>) for some warm refreshments, before heading off to explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discovered the Vancouver Acqarium (click for external link<\/strong><\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vancouver Aquarium (officially the Ocean Wise Conservation Association) is a public aquarium located in Stanley Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to being a major tourist attraction for Vancouver, the aquarium is a centre for marine research, conservation and marine animal rehabilitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
