A slow and quiet day today.
Happy Valley
Had to get some washing done, so dropped it off this morning. The laundry company (Sunshine Laundry – Wan Chai) operates through two systems.

The first one operates from 8am to around 7/8pm. Staffed by a dedicated owner, the washing can only be done by the staff and dropped off. You pay by the lb in weight for washing and or drying combined. We paid for 11lbs. We picked up the serviced washing and drying around 1pm. Once back at the hotel, we discovered that it had been folded and well wrapped up.
The 2nd system from 8pm until 8am is self service. No need to explain really.
Found the internet cafe and downloaded all pics from SD cards to USB. Processed and shrunk all. Could not generate file properties ( EXIF) as the native pc was all in Chinese. Will have to wait for Canada until I can do that.

Went to the Happy Valley Racecourse. Left around 18.30 and walked the short distance. Entrance was free if you were a tourist and had documentation. We used our driving id and saved the $10 fee.

It was first built in 1845 to provide horse racing for the British people in Hong Kong. The area was previously swampland, but the only flat ground suitable for horse racing on Hong Kong Island.

The racetrack is managed by the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
The stands are amazing and cinematic.
After 5 races, drink and food we headed back to Times Square for street food. Tofu, Octopus, Fish balls and Intestines (all on different kebab sticks).

Great snacks to finish the night off.
