Went to the Happy Valley Racecourse. Left around 18.30 and walked the short distance.
Happy Valley
Entrance was free if you are a tourist and had documentation. We used our driving id and saved the $10 fee.
It was first built in 1845 to provide horse racing for the British people in Hong Kong. The area was previously swampland, but the only flat ground suitable for horse racing on Hong Kong Island.

Found the best eggcup waffle place today (Mammy Pancake).

Eggcups (An egg waffle is a spherical egg-based waffle popular in Hong Kong and is an eggy leavened batter cooked between two plates of semi-spherical cells. They are usually served hot, and often eaten plain, although they may be served with fruit and flavors such as strawberry, coconut or chocolate).
Most EG are served hot and plain, or wrapped around fillings.
Ours were different. This place had flavoured the batter. A multitude of flavours. We went for Sweet Chestnut, then an Earl Grey Tea one.
Fantastic, filling and wonderfully hot.

Great snacks to finish the night off.
